外商投资者主要选择两种形式进入印度尼西亚市场：设立有限责任公司和设立代表处。 有限责任公司被称为Perseroan Terbatas或”PT”。根据PT，股东责任仅限于股东认缴的出资额。根据印尼法律，PT分为两类：（1）本地公司和PDMN公司; （2）Penanaman Modal Asing（PT PMA）。其中PT PMA允许100％外商独资。
